HOT WASHING UNITS (SINGLE ROOM and MULTI ROOM)

Hot washing units used in washing lines are suitable for washing PET, HDPE, PP, LDPE etc. plastics.

It is used to wash very dirty plastics for high quality product demands and to remove plastic from contaminants such as glue, label residue, odor, oil, food and beverage residues. Working method; Hot washing tanks return around their own axis with the mixers working independently in the washing rooms formed in a tank filled with caustic soda washing solution and/or industrial detergent solution which is raised to 90ºC with steam at 6 bar pressure. Each washing room is filled with the principle of rotation and empties. The predetermined amount of NaOH (sodium hydroxide caustic soda) solution is dosed by a pneumatically operated automatic dosing control system.

The caustic solution is mixed with the plastic by the constantly rotating mixer in the washing chamber. The temperature of the caustic washing solution is controlled by a heat stabilizer. There are electronically operated digital display conductivity measurement,  heat measuring digital equipments and water level sensors. Thanks to the automation system on the machine, steam used in water heating is controlled by Pneumatic on-off steam valve and strainer. Maximum heat efficiency is provided by the heat insulation in the heating boiler.

The plastic flakes washed in the caustic boiler is transferred to the high speed centrifugal washing unit through the output screw.
